Brunswick Expands Insourcing, Allocates 50,000 Sq Ft to Land ’N’ Sea
BC•Brunswick’s Navico Group will reconfigure its Lowell, Michigan plant, expanding insourcing and allocating 50,000 sq ft to Land ’N’ Sea for distribution, while leveraging outside partners and cross-division collaboration. These changes aim to reduce fixed costs and unlock a multi-million-dollar savings opportunity.
1. Operational Updates at Lowell Facility
Navico Group will optimize its Lowell, Michigan facility by expanding insourcing where feasible, partnering with select outside vendors and collaborating with other Brunswick divisions to improve efficiency and reduce fixed costs.
2. Space Allocation to Land ’N’ Sea
Approximately 50,000 square feet of existing space will be designated for Land ’N’ Sea’s distribution operations, while the business maintains separate leadership, operating model and headquarters.
3. Expected Savings and Future Plans
These facility adjustments are projected to generate a multi-million-dollar savings opportunity. Navico Group will continue reviewing its footprint, talent and capabilities as part of Brunswick’s ongoing cost-transformation efforts.
