- Spot other jumped 200% to $6.6 billion.
Derivatives activity and spreads
Derivatives activity accelerated:
- Options volume surged to $4.7 billion from $0.2 billion.
- Perpetual volume increased 33% to $2.0 billion.
Average trading spread tightened to 2.13 bps from 2.62 bps in July; spot spread eased to 2.53 bps from 2.71 bps.
