BUZZ-Street View: World Cup cheers, AI smarts and stablecoins power Visa higher
V•Analysts point to multiple growth engines
Morgan Stanley ("overweight," PT: $416) said Visa’s growth algorithm remains among the most attractive and resilient in the space.
Susquehanna ("positive," PT: $427) said World Cup tailwinds should support Visa's marketing services business through the rest of FY26; over the longer term, strategy as both an agentic commerce orchestrator and a stablecoin payments rail is becoming increasingly tangible.
Piper Sandler ("overweight," PT: $430) said "agentic commerce and stablecoins are expanding Visa’s strategic aperture".
J.P. Morgan ("overweight," PT: $450) remained constructive on the story, and believes the company can continue posting strong growth despite massive size, thanks to multiple growth engines and ability to charge higher prices.
Visa beats profit estimates on spending and travel demand
Visa V.N on Tuesday beat quarterly profit estimates as steady consumer spending and FIFA World Cup-fueled travel demand boosted payment volumes, signaling resilience amid uncertainty stemming from the Middle East conflict.
Shares were marginally down in premarket trading.
