Wall Street's benchmark S&P 500 struggled for direction in choppy trading on Thursday as investors took a breather from a record-breaking rally earlier this week and awaited any signs of a peace deal in the Middle East.
At 13:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 0.85% at 53,886.07. The S&P 500 was down 0.28% at 7,701.81, and the Nasdaq Composite was down 0.10% at 26,337.82.
