CACI’s Spectral EW Program Secures Milestone C, Starts Low-Rate Production

CACICACI

CACI’s Spectral electronic warfare program completed the U.S. Navy PEO C4I Milestone C review, triggering the low-rate initial production phase under PMW 120. The software-defined, open-architecture system will deliver next-generation shipboard signals intelligence and electromagnetic warfare capabilities to U.S. warfighters.

1. Milestone C Approval

The Spectral program completed a rigorous review by the U.S. Navy’s Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence, achieving Milestone C—a formal decision by the Milestone Defense Authority that confirms system performance and operational readiness.

2. LRIP and Deployment

Following Milestone C approval, CACI and PMW 120 initiated low-rate initial production and deployment of the Spectral system onboard Navy vessels, marking the transition from development and testing into active fielding.

3. Advanced EW Capabilities

Utilizing software-defined systems and open architectures, the Spectral program will provide next-generation shipboard signals intelligence and electronic warfare technologies that detect, exploit, and defend across the electromagnetic spectrum to enhance sensing, communications, and information operations.
