Cadiz, RIC Energy sign MOU for solar, green hydrogen development at Cadiz Ranch

Cadiz entered an MOU with RIC Energy to develop on-site solar generation at Cadiz Ranch in California’s Mojave Desert.

Solar output is expected to supply Cadiz’s agricultural operations, supporting a broader platform tied to green hydrogen development.

The companies will negotiate a power purchase agreement covering electricity from the planned solar facilities.

The MOU sets joint planning for hydrogen production, storage, delivery infrastructure, including potential hydrogen pipelines using Cadiz’s 220-mile Northern Pipeline corridor.
