It cut total Scope 1 and market-based Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 26.7% from 2021 levels, delivered 2.6 billion gallons of recycled water and funded $3.4 million in conservation rebates projected to save over 100 million gallons annually.

The company maintained 100% compliance with federal and state water quality standards through more than 630 000 tests and achieved a 9.1 customer satisfaction score. It provided $22 million in low-income customer discounts to over 100 000 households, submitted $20.4 million in grant applications for water projects—securing $10.1 million for PFAS treatment—and donated $1.9 million to local communities.

3. Engaging the workforce

California Water Service Group earned Great Place to Work certification for the 10th consecutive year, reduced OSHA-recordable injuries by 35% year-over-year and invested over $1 million in employee training and continuing education programs.
