Candel Therapeutics reports phase 3 prostate cancer biomarker data showing sustained immune remodeling after aglatimagene treatment
CADL•Candel Therapeutics said biomarker analysis from its completed phase 3 trial found sustained immune remodeling in tumor tissue more than two years after aglatimagene treatment, compared with radiotherapy alone.

Candel disclosed new biomarker data from its completed phase 3 trial of aglatimagene besadenovec in localized prostate cancer. Presented at ASTRO 2026 on Sept. 29, the analysis indicated that treatment drove sustained immune remodeling in tumor tissue more than two years after therapy versus radiotherapy alone. The company said the findings supported earlier evidence of improved biopsy outcomes and its planned Biologics License Application submission.
