Jay Como named chief operating officer at Capital Bank
Capital Bancorp named James “Jay” Como III chief operating officer at Capital Bank, effective July 29, 2026.
He will run enterprise operations, targeting process modernization, tighter coordination, data-driven execution, automation, AI deployment.
Como was global head of data governance and market data at T. Rowe Price, building enterprise governance, AI readiness, AI-enabled tools.
He previously served as chief data officer in Silicon Valley Bank’s Finance Data Product Office, leading finance data, reporting, technology transformation.
