CareTrust closes USD 291 million of investments

CareTrust REIT closed USD 291 million of investments, led by a 16-care-home UK portfolio buy for about USD 226 million.

It also acquired two off-market Utah senior housing communities for about USD 65 million, adding 212 assisted living and memory care units to its SHOP portfolio.

Third-quarter 2026 investments to date reached about USD 308 million at a 7.8% blended stabilized yield.

2026 investment activity rose to about USD 1.5 billion at an 8.7% blended stabilized yield.

The near-term investment pipeline totaled about USD 540 million, weighted toward skilled nursing acquisitions.
