Carney says latest Trump tariff threat not a surprise

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said on Monday it was not a surprise that the United States would take some form of reprisal against Canada, when asked about President Donald Trump's latest threat to increase tariffs on Canadian vehicles, auto parts and steel.
A mutually beneficial deal with the United States is possible, Carney added, even though negotiations broke down last week.
