Carnival jumps after raising annual profit forecast
CCL•Carnival raised its full-year adjusted EPS forecast to $2.24 from about $2.22 after beating third-quarter estimates, reporting revenue of $8.44 billion and adjusted profit of $1.43 per share.

Carnival said it expects full-year adjusted EPS of $2.24, compared with its prior forecast of about $2.22, after beating third-quarter estimates. The company attributed results to affluent consumers’ appetite for travel and leisure experiences.
2. Quarterly results
Third-quarter revenue was $8.44 billion, above analysts’ expectations of $8.30 billion. Adjusted profit was $1.43 per share, compared with estimates of $1.36. Carnival shares rose about 13%; Norwegian Cruise Line shares rose about 4% and Royal Caribbean shares about 6%.
