Carowinds Unveils 100-Foot Record-Breaking Flume Ride and $8 Monthly Pass
FUN•Carowinds will debut Rip Roarin' Falls, a super flume ride featuring a 100-foot mega drop and three world-record drops, in 2027. The park also launched an $8 per month membership offering unlimited visits through 2027 and access to six additional regional Six Flags parks.

Carowinds plans to debut Rip Roarin' Falls in 2027, marking its first super flume mega drop. The park describes the ride as a new signature attraction designed to boost guest engagement and reinforce its reputation for innovative thrills.

Rip Roarin' Falls will feature a 100-foot forward plunge and two additional record-setting drops—42-foot reverse and 32-foot reverse camelback—on a 2,240-foot course that lasts six and a half minutes. Themed as an abandoned lumber mill, the attraction will use eight-passenger boats, reversing switches and immersive scenery to appeal to families and thrill-seekers.

Carowinds introduced an $8 per month membership that provides unlimited park and waterpark visits through 2027 and includes Gold tier access to six additional eastern Six Flags parks. Benefits also encompass free parking, park discounts and exclusive perks aimed at driving recurring revenue.
