Carrier GAAP EPS falls 14% to $0.60 in Q2 FY26; net sales rise 4% to $6.35 billion

Carrier raised its full-year outlook to about $23 billion of sales and about $2.90 in adjusted EPS, including about a $0.05 headwind from the NORESCO exit and new U.S. factory costs.
Quarterly results
Carrier posted Q2 2026 GAAP EPS from continuing operations of $0.60, down 14% year over year, as net sales rose 4% to $6.35 billion.
GAAP operating profit fell 9% to $825 million, driving operating margin down 1.8 percentage points to 13.0%.
Orders and cash flow
Total company orders climbed about 40%, with Commercial HVAC up about 65% and data center orders up more than 300%.
Operating cash flow increased to $927 million, lifting free cash flow to $810 million; about $640 million was returned via dividends and repurchases.
