CBA raises Australia’s feasible data centre pipeline estimate to 7GW

The construction pipeline could reach $260 billion within a decade, and the expansion could more than quadruple total rated capacity to around 9.2GW by the mid-2030s. Construction activity is expected to peak in fiscal 2028 and 2029, with artificial intelligence and cloud computing driving demand for more processing capacity.
