CBAK Energy showcased its 32140 and 40135 LFP cylindrical cells and sodium-ion 32140 batteries in Ho Chi Minh City, targeting Southeast Asia’s E2W/E3W market. The 40135 FS2 cells deliver 172 Wh/kg, over 2,500 cycles of capacity retention and 50% lower temperature rise, enabling 8–10 year lifespan and slashing total cost of ownership.
CBAK Energy presented its Light Electric Vehicle battery solutions at the Autotech & Accessories 2026 exhibition in Ho Chi Minh City, focusing on high-demand E2W/E3W applications in Southeast Asia’s urban and commercial fleets.
The 40135 FS2 large cylindrical cells achieve 172 Wh/kg energy density, support 2C fast charge and 3C continuous discharge, maintain capacity over 2,500 cycles, and reduce temperature rise by 50%, targeting 8–10 years of lifespan and lower total cost of ownership.
Featuring full-tab architecture and pioneering sodium-ion options, the lineup drew strong procurement inquiries from local fleet operators and swapping network integrators, positioning CBAK Energy for potential partnerships and sales expansions across the region.
Following the Vietnam showcase, CBAK Energy plans to exhibit at Autoexpo Kenya in Nairobi on June 3–5, aiming to replicate its Southeast Asia momentum and support African electric mobility markets with integrated cylindrical battery solutions.
