DBA•CBOT corn futures ended mixed as drier Midwest weather was expected to accelerate harvesting, while a larger U.S. corn-stocks estimate weighed on prices. December corn settled down 1/2 cent at $4.97-1/4 a bushel.

Corn futures ended mixed on Monday as dry weather expected across the U.S. Midwest over the next week was forecast to accelerate harvesting. Rain was expected in the eastern Midwest and Delta the following week.
2. Crop and export figures
Analysts surveyed expected the U.S. Department of Agriculture to report that 26% of the corn crop had been harvested as of Sunday. The USDA confirmed private sales of 129,540 metric tons of corn to Mexico for shipment in the 2026/27 marketing year, and reported 1,367,685 metric tons inspected for export last week, down from 1,580,999 tons a week earlier.
