CDT Highlights Quantum-Assisted Coformer Selection to Accelerate Solid-Form Development
CDT•CDT notes Sarborg's Signature Intelligence platform now includes quantum-assisted coformer selection via SarborgQ, leveraging a proprietary database of over 850 coformers. The tool aims to speed solid-form development, improve decision-making, generate new patentable assets and expand commercial opportunities both internally and with third-party partners.
1. Platform Expansion
CDT has expanded its Signature Intelligence platform by integrating quantum computing capabilities through its SarborgQ division. This marks the first practical application of quantum-assisted coformer selection within the company’s solid-form development workflow.
2. Quantum-Assisted Coformer Selection
The new process combines agentic AI architecture with a proprietary database of more than 850 coformers, aiming to accelerate identification of co-crystal, salt and other solid-form opportunities. This technology is designed to enhance decision-making and uncover differentiated, patentable assets.
3. Deployment and Partnerships
SarborgQ will first deploy the quantum-assisted tools across CDT’s existing intellectual property portfolio to generate new patents and strengthen current assets. The company plans to extend the platform’s capabilities to external formulation partners, creating potential new revenue streams.
