Celcuity publishes presentation on updated VIKTORIA-1 Study 2 breast cancer results
CELC•Celcuity published updated results showing gedatolisib with fulvestrant and palbociclib improved median progression-free survival to 11.1 months versus alpelisib with fulvestrant, with a hazard ratio of 0.50. Without palbociclib, median progression-free survival was 11.3 months, with a hazard ratio of 0.51.
1. Updated trial results
In PIK3CA-mutant, HR-positive/HER2-negative advanced breast cancer, gedatolisib with fulvestrant and palbociclib significantly improved progression-free survival versus alpelisib with fulvestrant, reaching a median of 11.1 months (hazard ratio: 0.50). Without palbociclib, gedatolisib with fulvestrant also significantly improved progression-free survival versus the same comparator, reaching a median of 11.3 months (hazard ratio: 0.51). Adverse events associated with gedatolisib-based treatment were mainly grade 1 or 2.
