Cerebras is launching a multibillion-dollar expansion into Europe to deploy its AI accelerator systems across leading data centers, marking its largest international growth initiative. The program includes partnerships with major cloud providers and research labs, aiming to boost AI deployments and intensify competition with Nvidia in the GPU accelerator market.
Cerebras has outlined a multibillion-dollar plan to expand its wafer-scale AI accelerators into Europe, marking the company’s most significant overseas investment to date. The rollout will target key markets including Germany, France and the UK, with initial deployments scheduled for late 2026.
The initiative will involve collaborations with leading European cloud service providers and national research laboratories, leveraging existing data center capacity to install Cerebras’s systems. Participants will gain access to on-premise training and inference services, accelerating regional AI project timelines.
By establishing a direct presence in Europe, Cerebras aims to capture enterprise and research demand that has traditionally favored Nvidia’s GPUs. The move is expected to intensify price and performance competition in the GPU accelerator segment, potentially reshaping vendor market shares over the next two years.
