CERo Therapeutics adds UC Davis as site for Phase 1 CER-1236 trial in blood cancers
CERO•CERo Therapeutics activated UC Davis as a site for its ongoing Phase 1 CERTAIN-T trial of CER-1236, which UC Davis also manufactures. The trial now includes myelodysplastic syndromes and myelofibrosis; preliminary observations in two patients indicated clinical improvement, but formal assessments remain ongoing.
1. New trial site
CERo Therapeutics activated UC Davis as a site for its ongoing Phase 1 CERTAIN-T trial of CER-1236 in blood cancers. UC Davis also manufactures CER-1236, potentially expanding recruitment capacity and shortening the time between manufacturing and patient infusion.
2. Early trial observations
Previously reported findings covered six patients. A June 2026 update showed no severe treatment-related adverse events during the initial safety assessment. Preliminary observations indicated clinical improvement in two patients, but formal assessments remain ongoing and definitive safety or efficacy conclusions cannot yet be drawn.
3. Expanded trial protocol
The trial protocol now includes myelodysplastic syndromes and myelofibrosis.
