CGI Federal launches Quantum Pathfinder R&D with U.S. Defense Logistics Agency, University of Tennessee
GIB•CGI Federal entered an applied R&D agreement with the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency and the University of Tennessee to test agentic AI and quantum computing for warehousing.
1. Warehouse technology research
The Quantum Pathfinder program will focus on smart-warehouse orchestration, reverse logistics and inventory positioning, with an aim to move quantum computing and agentic AI into operational federal logistics systems. CGI Federal will host the initiative at its Knoxville onshore delivery center, and results will be shared through publications and summits.
