C.H. Robinson says scaling lower-emissions freight requires aligning demand, infrastructure, investment and operations

Robinson outlined its sustainability strategy at Climate Week NYC, focusing on aligning shipper demand, carrier investment, infrastructure, procurement and operations to scale lower-emissions freight. It cited about 37 million annual shipments and roughly $23 billion of freight under management.

C.H. Robinson said its strategy focuses on scaling lower-emissions freight beyond pilot projects by aligning shipper demand, carrier investment, infrastructure readiness, procurement, operations, economics and utilization. It highlighted electric drayage on repeatable routes and cited its network of roughly 37 million annual shipments and about $23 billion of freight under management.
