Charles River rolled out an automated manufacturing suite for Endosafe endotoxin testing cartridges, expanding inspection, traceability, controls and capacity.
- Full operational capacity is targeted for Q3 2026; the suite became fully operational in July 2026.
- Charles River reported a 14% capacity increase across Trillium and LAL cartridges; labor productivity rose 87% versus manual production.
- Scrap rate fell 2%, and invalid cartridge rate dropped 13%, supporting tighter quality consistency.
