Charles River partners with Magellan Stem Cells on cGMP NGS viral safety testing for osteoarthritis therapy program
CRL•Charles River Laboratories will provide cGMP viral safety testing using next-generation sequencing to support Magellan Stem Cells’ therapies. Magellan is preparing a pivotal Phase III program for its Zelestrocel osteoarthritis therapy candidate.
1. Testing collaboration
Charles River Laboratories entered a collaboration with Australia’s Magellan Stem Cells to support development of Magellan’s stem cell therapies. Charles River will provide cGMP viral safety testing using next-generation sequencing for regulatory-ready quality control. Magellan is preparing a pivotal Phase III program for Zelestrocel, an allogeneic, off-the-shelf osteoarthritis stem cell therapy candidate.
