In the 2025 cycle, grants funded GED preparation and pre-employment testing in Spartanburg, SC; hands-on STEAM coding and robotics labs in Casper, WY; a teen mentoring resource lounge in Hilo, HI; digital service training for seniors and veterans in Tampa Bay, FL; and computer refurbishment and family training in Salinas, CA.

3. Strategic Rationale and Community Impact

According to Rahman Khan, Group Vice President of Community Impact, Spectrum Digital Education seeks to dismantle barriers to connectivity by converting Internet access into practical capability. The program targets underserved populations—including seniors, veterans, students, working adults and families—to foster digital independence. By investing in community tech spaces such as computer labs and learning hubs, Charter aims to drive long-term economic and educational outcomes that reinforce its broader mission of delivering seamless connectivity and digital inclusion.
