Chilean Cobalt completes Phase 1 at NeoRe rare earth project in Chile, starts Phase 2 work program
COBA•Phase 1 completed at NeoRe rare earth project
Chilean Cobalt completed Phase 1 work under its earn-in agreement for the NeoRe Rare Earth Project in southern Chile.
Phase 2 execution is now underway, targeting expanded drilling, metallurgical development, engineering studies, permitting and strategic partner engagement.
Drilling, pilot plant work and partner shipments advance
Drilling reached about 2,000 meters year-to-date, while pilot plant processing continued and produced rare earth carbonate concentrate.
Initial carbonate concentrate shipments were sent to prospective U.S. processing and off-take partners for downstream testing.
Conceptual mine engineering advanced for 5,000 or 10,000 tonnes-per-month scenarios, supporting future permitting and development planning.
