- Non-GAAP earnings available for distribution totaled $39 million, or $0.46 per diluted share, covering the $0.45 quarterly dividend.
- GAAP book value per common share ended the quarter at $17.75, while economic return was negative 0.76%.
Residential Origination and securitization activity
- Residential Origination funded $1.1 billion of volume, up 30% from a year earlier, with segment net income of $9 million.
- Chimera completed two re-securitizations totaling $487 million, bought $122 million of newly originated HomeXpress loans, and advanced its first HomeXpress-collateral securitization plan.
