China Automotive Systems unit wins UL ASIL-D certification for AP04 EPS platform
CAS•China Automotive Systems’ Henglong unit won UL ISO 26262 ASIL-D certification for its AP04 electric power steering platform, with European mass production scheduled to start in Q4 2026.
1. Safety certification
Henglong won UL ISO 26262 ASIL-D functional safety product certification for its fully redundant AP04 EPS platform. The certification targets high-safety steering for L3 and L4 autonomous driving, and European mass production is scheduled to start in Q4 2026.
