China ties more US farm imports to reciprocal tariff cuts
SPY•China said it is open to buying more US agricultural products if both sides finalize and implement reciprocal tariff cuts on $60 billion of goods imported from each other.
1. Tariff cuts prerequisite
China's Commerce Ministry said it is open to increasing purchases of US agricultural products, but said both sides must first finalize and implement reciprocal tariff cuts on $60 billion worth of goods imported from each other. Spokesperson Huang Ling said China hopes the US will work with China to create favourable conditions for agricultural trade.
