China, US maintain close communication about tariff cut arrangements, Chinese ministry says

BEIJING, July 23 (Reuters) - China and the United States have maintained close communication on the details of their Board of Trade and are exploring the arrangements of a reciprocal tariff reduction framework, China's commerce ministry said on Thursday.

Teams from both sides are in communication about the board's specific arrangements such as its structure, functions and operating model, a ministry official said at a press briefing.

China is soliciting opinions from domestic enterprises, business associations, local governments and U.S. business associations about tariff reduction, she said.
