European gas prices hold near four-month intraday highs
The benchmark Dutch gas price pared back initial gains on Thursday morning but both Dutch and British gas remain at four-month intraday highs amid competition for liquefied natural gas (LNG) and a widening of the U.S.-Iran war.
The benchmark Dutch front-month contract at the TTF hub TFMBMc1 eased by €0.16 to €62.49 euros per megawatt hour (MWh) by 0839 GMT, ICE data showed.
The British front-month contract NGLNMc1 rose by 0.87 pence to 152.30 pence per therm.
