Matthew Whitlock appointed chief investment officer

Chiron Real Estate named Matthew Whitlock chief investment officer, effective Aug. 3, 2026.

Whitlock will run investment sourcing, structuring and execution for senior housing, as well as strategic partnerships and platform growth.

He brings three decades of senior housing experience across acquisitions, development, debt, equity and capital markets.

Outgoing CIO Alfonzo Leon shifted to strategic advisor through Dec. 31, 2026.
