Churchill Downs and NYRA deepen United Tote relationship

Churchill Downs says it signed a definitive agreement to buy back 49% of United Tote from NYRA, reversing a 2024 sale of the same stake.

NYRA extended its tote services contract with United Tote through 2035, securing long-term use of the pari-mutuel wagering platform.

The deal targets greater vertical integration in racing wagering technology; closing is expected by Aug. 5, 2026.
