Circle Internet Group agreed to acquire Singapore-based cross-border payments platform Tazapay to expand its global payments infrastructure.
- Closing is targeted for 2027, subject to customary conditions and approval from the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
- Tazapay brings more than $25 billion in annualized payment volume, 60+ banking and fintech partners, and local payout rails across 100+ markets.
- About 60% of Tazapay’s transaction volume already uses stablecoins, supporting wider distribution of Circle’s USDC.
- Tazapay customers are expected to see no changes to service, APIs, pricing, or support.
