Citi CEO Fraser says agentic AI in banking needs strong controls, authentication
C•Citi CEO Jane Fraser said banks need strong controls and authentication as they prepare for AI agents to carry out tasks.

Speaking at the Sibos conference, Fraser said Citi developed a control layer called Arc that AI agents must pass through before being created. She said it provides an “observability layer” to continuously track and monitor their activity.
