Comparable-store sales climbed 10.5%, lifting sales by $19.8 million; net store openings added $1 million.
Margins, expenses and balance sheet
Cost of sales rate narrowed 0.6 percentage points to 59.4% on higher merchandise margin and lower shrink, though freight expense increased.
SG&A rose 4.3% to $82.3 million, while the rate improved 2.5 percentage points to 38.9% on store expenses supporting higher sales.
Cash and cash equivalents totaled $55.9 million; inventory increased 7.5% to $126.4 million to support strong demand.
