Quarterly results rise on growth investments
Clearway Energy's second-quarter net income and adjusted EBITDA rose year over year on growth investments.
The US clean energy asset owner said higher adjusted EBITDA and renewable generation were driven by growth investments. Flexible Generation segment availability was also higher due to strong operational execution. Net income increased year over year mainly because of changes in mark-to-market for economic hedges.
Texas contracts and wind PPA restructurings completed
The company said it completed new Texas fleet contracts and restructured power purchase agreements for the Elbow Creek and Langford wind projects.
2026 CAFD guidance lowered, targets maintained
Clearway Energy lowered its 2026 full-year CAFD guidance to $430 million to $470 million, citing updated renewable production estimates and operational factors.
The company maintained its 2030 CAFD per share target of $2.90 to $3.10 and said it sees potential for 5% to 8%+ CAFD growth beyond the 2030 baseline.
