Cleveland-Cliffs named Ralph Michael as lead independent director, effective February 24, 2026. He will preside over meetings of independent directors and collaborate with executive leadership on governance priorities.

As lead director, Michael will guide the board’s agenda, facilitate communications among independent members and enhance oversight of Cleveland-Cliffs’ strategic initiatives in steel production and capital allocation.
