Cloudflare Joins Mastercard AP4M for AI Microtransactions, Publishes Investor Day Transcript
NET•Cloudflare joined over 30 initial partners in Mastercard’s new AP4M platform for high-frequency, low-latency AI-led microtransactions across cards, accounts and stablecoins. Cloudflare also published its June 11 Analyst/Investor Day transcript, outlining strategic priorities for network performance, AI security enhancements and developer platform growth.
1. Partnership in Mastercard’s AP4M Program
Cloudflare was selected as one of more than 30 organisations validating use cases for Mastercard’s Agent Pay for Machines (AP4M), designed to support high-frequency, low-latency machine-led payments. Cloudflare’s edge network will enable credentialing, permissioning and settlement across cards, accounts and stablecoins, positioning the company to capture emerging microtransaction volumes.
2. Investor Day Transcript Reveals Strategic Roadmap
On June 11, Cloudflare published its Analyst/Investor Day transcript, reaffirming its focus on expanding global network capacity, enhancing AI-driven security services and advancing its developer platform. Management highlighted continuous innovation to support new verticals such as embedded finance, though it did not provide updated revenue forecasts.
