CMB.TECH completed the sale of its Suezmax tankers Brest and Brugge, each 156,851 DWT and delivered in 2023, realizing a combined capital gain of approximately $100.5 million based on net sale prices and book values.
The company intends to deploy the sale proceeds according to its capital allocation framework, targeting investments to expand and modernize its diversified fleet of around 250 vessels, including dry bulk, chemical and offshore energy segments.
Both vessels are scheduled for delivery to the new owner in Q3 2026, aligning the capital gain recognition with the third-quarter financial results and enabling transparent reporting of transaction proceeds.
