CN Signs BHP Deal to Transport Jansen Potash via 20,000-Mile Rail
CNI•Canadian National Railway has signed a transportation agreement with BHP to move potash from the Jansen Potash Mine in Saskatchewan to West Coast export terminals, leveraging its 20,000-mile rail network. This supports the initial production phase of the Jansen project and bolsters CN’s bulk transport capacity to supply fertilizer markets in Asia, Latin America and beyond.

Canadian National Railway has entered into a transportation agreement with BHP to move potash from the Jansen Potash Mine in Saskatchewan to export terminals on Canada’s West Coast, marking a key logistics commitment for the project’s initial phase.
