CNX adds continuous gamma radiation monitoring, public disclosure under Pennsylvania transparency pact

CNX expanded its Radical Transparency ESG program to include radiation monitoring and public disclosure in coordination with Pennsylvania DEP.

Continuous ambient gamma monitoring will be installed at unconventional well pads and certain produced water facilities, with real-time public reporting.

Onterris will collect raw data, provide it to CNX and DEP simultaneously, then apply QA/QC under a dedicated plan.

Daily radiation surveys for waste shipments leaving sites will be disclosed publicly, with monthly updates, from drilling through production.

CNX framed the measures as voluntary commitments that exceed regulatory requirements.
