1. ESG Reporting Model
CNX shifted in 2025 from an annual sustainability report to a dynamic model featuring quarterly ESG Performance Scorecard updates and continuously refreshed online disclosures. Over one million data points on environmental and regulatory metrics are now published, offering stakeholders real-time insights beyond traditional annual snapshots.
2. Environmental Performance
The 2025 ESG Scorecard details data on greenhouse gas emissions, methane intensity, air emissions, water management, waste handling, leak detection and repair activity, and environmental incidents. CNX provided continuous access to a Washington County well pad for independent monitoring, supporting the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection's intensive study of unconventional gas wells.
3. Community Investments
Through its micro-TIL philanthropic model, CNX Foundation directed $4 million into 130+ local initiatives, including a $500,000 HVAC upgrade for the Apollo-Ridge School District auditorium and band room. Employees also partnered on holiday gift programs, reaching hundreds of families and community organizations across its operating regions.
4. Workforce Development
CNX expanded its Mentorship Academy, with the 2024–2025 cohort yielding a 30% full-time employment rate and 51% pursuing further education, while the 2025–2026 enrollment rose 60%. The Energy SSE internship placed eight interns across 11 energy firms, achieving a 75% full-time job placement upon program completion.
