Coffee Holding posted fiscal Q3 net income of $1.99 million, or $0.35 a share, swinging from a loss.
Net sales fell 9.3% to $21.69 million, pressured by lower green coffee prices and promotional activity.
Margins and tariff refunds
Gross margin widened 15.6 percentage points to 25%, helped by tariff refunds, a favorable inventory position, and trading gains.
Andrew Gordon said tariff refunds added about $0.06 a share, with additional refunds expected over the next two quarters.
