Cognizant and Ace Hardware today commemorated a quarter-century of collaboration focused on next-generation e-commerce and supply chain transformation. Since 2001, Cognizant has migrated Ace from legacy platforms to SAP, implemented sustained enhancements to its co-op retail model and delivered a Manhattan Warehouse Management solution across more than ten U.S. distribution centers. These initiatives have collectively driven a 450% increase in Ace’s online sales since 2019, while improving warehouse throughput times by an estimated 18% and reducing order-fulfillment errors by 12% over the past two years.

On January 29, Cognizant and Kohler announced a strategic extension of their partnership to deepen cloud infrastructure modernization, enterprise AI and cybersecurity. Over the past five years, the alliance has improved global system reliability by more than 30% and accelerated software delivery cycles by 25%. Under the renewed agreement, Cognizant will integrate its Neuro® IT Operations platform across Kohler’s data centers and e-commerce environment, targeting a further 40% gain in observability and a 20% reduction in incident-response times through generative-AI-driven automation.

Belcan Government Solutions, a subsidiary of Cognizant, secured an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for the Missile Defense Agency’s SHIELD program, with a ceiling value of $151 billion. The award covers aerospace design, digital engineering, supply chain and IT solutions for homeland defense. Cognizant Americas President Surya Gummadi highlighted that this contract represents the largest single award in the company’s defense services portfolio, positioning Belcan to deliver rapid-deployment capabilities through modular architecture and agile software practices over the next decade.
