CoinShares Debuts Five Digital Asset ETPs on Bourse Direct for French Retail
CoinShares now lists five physically-backed crypto ETPs, including Bitcoin and Ethereum, on Bourse Direct's French brokerage platform, enabling retail investors to access digital assets through existing securities accounts. This distribution expands CoinShares' market reach alongside BoursoBank and bolsters its position as Europe’s leading crypto ETP issuer managing over $7 billion.
1. Listing on Bourse Direct
CoinShares has listed five physically-backed crypto ETPs on Bourse Direct, a leading French online brokerage, granting retail investors direct access to Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, XRP and other major digital assets via their securities accounts without the need for wallets or private keys.
2. Product Structure and Accessibility
The ETPs operate under the prospectus regime and feature institutional-grade structure and transparent pricing, enabling integration alongside traditional equities and ETFs and simplifying digital asset exposure for individual investors.
3. Regulatory Support and Market Entry
The move follows the enforcement of MiCA across the EU and clarified AMF guidelines for crypto ETPs, prompting French brokerages to adopt regulated digital asset products and positioning CoinShares as a first mover in the mainstream retail segment.
4. Reinforced Market Position
Combined with its existing partnership with BoursoBank, the Bourse Direct listing cements CoinShares' status as Europe’s leading crypto ETP issuer, with over $7 billion in assets under management, and sets the stage for expanded retail inflows and fee revenue growth.
