Colliers named Christian Mayer Global CFO and CEO of Commercial Real Estate and Elias Mulamoottil Global CIO and CEO of Engineering as Real Estate Services CEO Chris McLernon retires end-April. Engineering platform will span 20+ countries with 13,000 professionals after Ayesa acquisition to bolster global infrastructure capabilities.
1. Executive Appointments
Colliers appointed Christian Mayer as Global Chief Financial Officer and CEO of Commercial Real Estate, tasking him with advancing enterprise-wide financial strategy across capital markets, leasing and outsourcing in 70 countries. Elias Mulamoottil assumed the role of Global Chief Investment Officer and CEO of Engineering, overseeing investment decisions and platform operations.
2. Engineering Expansion
Following the closing of the Ayesa acquisition, Colliers Engineering will operate in over 20 countries with a workforce of 13,000 professionals, significantly enhancing technical expertise and capacity to deliver complex, large-scale infrastructure and built-environment projects for both public and private clients.
3. Leadership Transition
Real Estate Services CEO Chris McLernon will retire at the end of April after nearly four decades with the company, completing a planned leadership succession designed to maintain continuity and support Colliers’ ongoing global growth strategy.
