Collins Aerospace expands West Des Moines engine components facility by 14,000 square feet
RTX•Collins Aerospace, a unit of RTX, will add 14,000 square feet to its West Des Moines engine-components facility in a multi-million-dollar investment aimed at increasing fuel-distribution systems production. Construction is slated to start later this month, with completion expected in mid-2027.
1. Facility expansion
The expansion is expected to support job additions by the end of 2026, with further hiring planned into 2027. The facility currently ships more than 25,000 engine nozzles monthly.
