Comcast reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.84 for the fourth quarter, surpassing the consensus estimate of $0.75, while total revenue of $32.31 billion was essentially in line with analyst forecasts of $32.35 billion. Net income attributable to Comcast declined to $2.17 billion, or $0.60 per share, reflecting a 54.6% drop versus the prior year, largely due to a one‐time tax benefit in the year-ago period. Adjusted EBITDA rose 10.3% year-over-year to $7.9 billion.

The company lost 181,000 domestic broadband customers in the quarter, a continuation of competitive pressure from wireless providers’ aggressive pricing. Video customer relationships fell by 245,000, narrowing Comcast’s total domestic pay-TV base to 11.27 million. International residential connectivity added 22,000 relationships, partially offsetting U.S. declines.

Comcast’s domestic wireless business delivered its strongest performance ever with 364,000 net line additions, bringing total wireless lines to over 9.3 million and driving an 18% increase in wireless revenue. Peacock paid subscribers reached 44 million, up 22% year-over-year, contributing to 23% revenue growth to $1.6 billion in the quarter and reducing adjusted EBITDA losses by over $700 million for the full year.

Free cash flow jumped 34% to $4.37 billion, supported by record operating cash flow of $8.84 billion. Comcast returned $2.7 billion to shareholders in the quarter through $1.2 billion in dividends and $1.5 billion in share repurchases. The board declared a quarterly dividend of $0.33 per share, maintaining the annualized payout at $1.32 for 2026.
